For the 19th year in succession JOB&Orienta presents an up-to-date and accredited showcase on guidance, schools, training and careers.

Projects, processes and services to discover about didactic and training opportunities and to learn how to make choices, to find the careers on offer today and to take advantage of the job opportunities, to understand the changes in the school system and the developments in the labour market: a review intended for a large public as always and targeting lower and upper secondary school children, young people with diplomas and university degrees, directors and managers of the school/labour system, families…

The exhibition-conference is organised in two macro-areas: one relative to schools (which contains the sections JOBSchool, University Planet, MultimediaJOB) and one to the Job market (TopJOB, Arts, crafts and professions, JOBTouring, SocialJOB). This year’s novelty is JOBInternational, a space dedicated to organisations and companies which promote international mobility for study or work purposes.

There is a wide range of exhibitors: state and private schools of every order and description, vocational training centres, labour agencies, trade unions, professional and trade associations, local bodies and institutions, public and private businesses, voluntary and non-profit concerns, publishers, specialised press, websites and portals…

The event is also an important meeting point between the school environment and the job market: two spheres which are increasingly required to dialogue and interact with one another.

These themes will be reflected in the full calendar of conferences, debates and workshops. To guarantee the active involvement of the visitors, there will again be space for laboratories, simulations of crafts, art and theatrical performances.

40,000 visitors came to the 2008 edition, attended the 150 cultural events, with more than 350 speakers, and met the 450 exhibitors.

To provide an opportunity for cultural updating and to promote maximum participation, there is free admission to the pavilions and to the conferences and workshops.
